Learn to Properly Prevent And Manage Problems In Water With The PADI Rescue Diver Course

 Rescue Diver Course readies student divers to help prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies using a variety of techniques. the course is designed to be demanding, through realistic in its content and approach. Although the nature and contest in which rescue training may be used are serious, the course should be enjoyable and build diver confidence.  

What Will You Learn?

The Rescue Diver Course consists of five open water dive and should take a minimum of 3 days. During the five open water sessions, you will cover:

  • Self rescue
  • Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
  • Emergency management and equipment
  • Rescuing panicked divers
  • Rescuing unresponsive divers
  • Are You Fit For Scuba Diving?

    Download and fill out this mandatory Medical Questionnaire, which will assess if you meet the minimum physical requirements to safely participate in this sport. If you answer "YES"  to any of the questions listed, the Medical Questionnaire must be completely filled and signed by a physician. 

    You'll also need to fill out a Certified Liability Release Form. Remember to bring your completed medical questionnaire and the certified diver liability release form to the dive shop. 

     Prerequisite 

    • Be 12 years or older
    • Have a PADI Adventure Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
    • Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (Ask your instructor about Emergency First Response CPR and first aid courses).

    Pricing includes all diving equipment, Rescue Diver manual, card processing,  lunch on diving days, conservation  fees, 12.5% Sales Tax, and PADI Dive Instructor.
